12V and 24V light strips are the same in structure and basic principles. The main differences are reflected in electrical performance, usage scenarios, wiring difficulty and cost. For example, in terms of voltage drop, 12V light strips have more obvious voltage drop and begin to decay after 3 meters; 12V voltage drop is not so obvious and can support 5~10 meters or even longer.
Color temperature refers to the appearance of light emitted by a light source, measured in Kelvin (K). It describes whether the light is warm 2700K – 3000K (yellow), neutral 3000-5000K (white) or cool >5000K (blue). There is no good or bad color temperature, it all depends on your needs, mood and personal preference.
